Parking

The safety of visitors, parents/carers, children, and staff is of upmost importance to us at Mark First & Preschool Academy. Whilst the school cannot control parking outside its boundaries we ask that those coming to the school site park within the law and with consideration for other road users, pedestrians, and our local community.

At the beginning of the school day the layby is available to parents to drop off children who will be seen into the school site by a member of staff standing on the gate.

At the end of the school day the layby is not available due to waiting traffic causing a of blocking the road with queuing traffic.

For those parents who choose to come to the school by car, we politely request that you do not to use the school car park when dropping off or collecting children from school, unless you have applied for and been provided a school parking pass.

Parents only dropping off or collecting from Preschool who will be in after school drop off and leave before school pick up times may use the school car park but must not stay beyond these times to ensure spaces are available to those with parking permits.

The school car park is NOT available for parking without a permit for those dropping off or picking up from school.
